For everyone in the UK, a little heads up on some big GH news coming your way…COZ OV MONI is a new movie from two of Ghana’s hip life stars, M3nsa and Wanlov the Kubolor. The duo have come together as the FOKN boys to produce the world’s first pidgen musical, a concept album-turned-feature length movie performed entirely in pidgen English, a broken dialect of the English language.
We went to a screening recently and we reckon it’s got big potential as a global cult hit. The movie sees the two going about their business in Accra to the sound of some phat beats and comedy scenarios.
The UK premier is coming to the Ritzy in Brixton on July 22nd with Afro-Pop Live…go get some pidgen in your life!
